Once a shoe store in 1915 decorated with ornate wallpaper, this industrial building has lived many lives throughout the last century. Today, it's been fully renovated and reimagined into a stunning micro-venue in downtown Kent. Indium is a blank canvas curated with timeless aesthetics to serve as the perfect backdrop for milestone birthdays, weddings, baby showers, rehearsal dinners and so much more. Indium is minutes away from Kent Station and quickly accessible from WA-167.  Surrounded by plenty of free public parking, the venue offers quick and effortless access for your guests.

750 square feet, exposed historic ceiling adorned with vintage ballroom lighting, refined industrial style, an elegant and spacious serving kitchen with a marble serving bar, a getting ready room and stunning Art Deco restrooms. 


Also included in the Starry Ballroom rental is an 170 sq. ft. flex room with a 12 ft. ceiling also featuring original industrial beams.  


Option to rent an additional 435 square feet (our Modern Micro Hall).

    Features

    Drenched with natural light, the Modern Micro Hall is the perfect spillover space for your event.  The space can be used for pre-event cocktails, backdrop photos, gift tables, a quiet area for tea and coffee, etc. 


    Please Note: The Modern Micro Hall is only available as an add-on to the rental of the Starry Ballroom.

    Yes! Included in all prices are our white padded banquet chairs and plenty of 6' rectangular tables. You are welcome to arrange your own chair vendor as long as drop-off and pick-up occur within your rental time slot.

    Yes! You are welcome to cater your event. Our kitchen is equipped with a deep sink, refrigerator and freezer. Please note, our kitchen is a prep/serve kitchen only; per fire code, no cooking is allowed.  

    Yes! Included in all prices is the use of our mobile speaker system and integrated microphone. You are welcome to bring your own audio system.

    Yes!  

    Yes, alcohol is allowed in our event space. However, we require a licensed and insured bartender to serve the alcohol and all state and local laws must be followed.

    Yes, the Starry Ballroom rental includes a beautiful 170 sq. ft. room to get ready or to be used for a photo booth, gifts table setup, creative speakeasy and so much more. The room boasts an exposed soaring 12 ft. ceiling and it's adorned with vintage inspired lighting.  

    Our venue is well suited for many events, including intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, baby showers, graduation celebrations, church services, private dinners, club meetings, business meetings, cocktail hours, new years parties, tailgating, comedy shows, and more!
